What We’re Up Against

Repressive policies are being tested and implemented across the South. At the same time, the frontline, Southern movements that are best positioned to fight back are woefully under resourced.

Limited philanthropic support leaves us stuck in cycles of rapid response, unable to build long-term infrastructure, fueling scarcity.

Our Solution

The Southern Power Fund strives to resource movements, expand connections, and build shared infrastructure so we can build beyond disaster.

The Southern Power Fund envisions a world where our communities and movements are abundantly resourced, practicing self-governance, and exercising self-determination.

Over the next five years, we’ll redistribute $100 million to a range of Southern frontline organizations and formations.
